PARKING

Your parking stall number is 218.
Please always lock your car and do not leave any valuables inside.

CHECKOUT

CHECK-OUT TIME is 11:00 AM

There is no need to meet with us on checkout. Please leave both FOBs on the dining table and text us that you have checked out so we can prepare for the next guest.  Also please remember to turn off the air conditioners.

If you have a car please remember you will need a FOB to exit the building then return to the apartment to leave the key. You do not need a FOB to go to the lobby and exit.

Free key chain, please feel free to keep a key chain holding the FOB as a souvenir from us.

Lost FOB: the building charges us $50.00 so this is your cost.

This is a NO Smoking apartment and building including the lanai.

LATE CHECK OUTS:
Please contact us if you need a late check out. We will try to accommodate you but it will depend primarily on when the next guest is arriving. Also we use a professional cleaning company so we may not be able to change their schedule.

GROCERIES
Snacks, drinks

ABC Store (similar to 7/11) is a block away. Directions: Walk to Kuhio Ave and turn right for 1 block, hours: 6:30 am to midnight.

Another nice convenience store is the Holoholo Cafe and Market. It is a block further next to the Hitlon Garden Inn. Hours 6am to midnight. Directions: Walk to Kuhio Ave and turn right, walk 3 blocks to Nahua St.

For large stores, in Ala Moana Shopping Center (10 minute drive) there is a large Foodland Farms grocery store, hours 5am to 11pm. Also inside the Target store they sell groceries, hours 8am to 11pm. There is also a large Safeway store about a 10-minute drive at 888 Kapahulu Ave. Open 24-hours.

TRASH

Trash bags can be throw away in the trash chute in the Trash Room to the left of the elevator. Use trash chute only between the hours 7am to 10pm. You open the trash chute with the small lever under the handle. Tie the top of each trash bag then drop it down the trash chute. For large items please take that to the basement parking level where there is a large trash container. There are no recyclable trash bins just use the trash chute.

LAUNDRY

A washer and dryer is in the kitchen. Laundry soap is in the bottom cabinet next to the trash can. Soap is put in the drawer named "Direct Drive" on the left side of that drawer. Please remember there is no maid service during your stay so you are responsible for your own wash.

BEACH

Waikiki beach is about a 10 minute walk (please see map). Beach towels, mats, chairs, snorkel, mask and fins are in the apartment. Directions: Walk to Kuhio Ave and turn right, after 1 block cross the street to the Ohana East hotel then walk down this street toward the ocean to Kalakaua Ave then turn LEFT. There are also over 100 beaches all over Oahu.

For snorkeling in the Waikiki area the best beach is either Kaimana (Sans Souci) beach or Queen's beach on the East (Diamond Head) end of Waikiki. Park by Kapiolani park or the small street by the War Memorial Natatorium.

POOL

The pool is a heated salt water pool. It is on the 5th floor. You need your FOB for the elevator. Hours are: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm

FITNESS Room

This building does not have a fitness room.

SHOPPING

Waikiki International Marketplace is a nice shopping and dining place, it is about a 5 minute walk. There are also many, many shops and restaurants along Kalakaua Ave.

Honolulu's main shopping center is Ala Moana Shopping Center which has a Macy's, Target, Bloomingdales and over 300 of other stores and shops.

There is a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club a block from Ala Moana Center on Keeaumoku Street.

LUGGAGE STORAGE

Here is a company that handle luggage storage:
waikikibaggagestorage.com where you just drop off and pick up your bags. They are located 3 blocks from the condo. If you give them this code "Aloha Bags" they will give you a 25% discount.

MEDICAL

Doctors of Waikiki, ph. (808) 922-2112. They have an on-call service and they also have an urgent care walk-in clinic just 5 minutes away. They are located inside, on the right side of the entrance, of the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel. Directions: Walk to Kuhio Ave and turn right, after 1 short block cross the street to the Ohana East hotel then walk down this street toward the ocean. The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel will be on your right in 1-2 minutes.

Longs Drug Store (owned by CVS) has a 24 hour Waikiki Store at
2155 Kalakaua Ave, Pharmacy Hours M-F 8a-7p, Sat/Sun 9a-6p. They also have a store in Ala Moana Shopping Center.

A Safeway supermarket is about a 10-minute drive at 888 Kapahulu Ave with good free parking. The Pharmacy hours are M-F 8a-8p, Sat/Sun 9a-5p. The store is open 24-hours.
